Excavation is done so the pool will be sitting on flat ground (fill dirt is not used)

Concrete blocks are set to grade

Sand is brought in to level inside the pool, the posts and wall are set, then you can have underlayment put down to help protect the liner
Foam pool cove is then installed in the corner to also help protect the liner (this is used instead of sand)
